TJ wanted to change how he behaved in the world and redefine what it means to be a man

What we learn from our parents as children can totally shape our behaviour and the way we interact and communicate with people close to us. TJ saw the world from a very narrow viewpoint, struggling to connect with others and ultimately limiting the depth of his relationships. 12 months ago, his partner told him she wasn’t happy and their relationship needed to change. He then had the courage to want to work on himself to undo what he had learnt, limit friendships that weren’t healthy for him, change the way he saw the world and the way he interacted with his partner and to redefine what a relationship should be. In his own words TJ explains how great a place the world would be if you could talk openly with people around you, particularly men, about how you really feel and what’s going on in your world without being judged. This is such a simple concept but rarely happens. TJ then questions what it means to be a man in today’s world. The conversations around this subject are starting to change and create a new paradigm. If men could have open honest conversations it would mean better men, better relationships with their partners and ultimately a better society.
